How “Adventures Along the Path of Life” Began

While in college, one thing I found while surfing the web was that, while numerous recipe and lifestyle sites exist for college-age women,  very few of them come from a Christian perspective. I hoped that this site, Adventures Along the Path of Life, would defy that norm. The ultimate goal of the initial The Path of Life website was to encourage Christian college-age women to grow in their daily walk with Christ.

However…now that I’m married and out of college, much of what I write will likely revolve around day-to-day living in Casper, WY. I still desire for this blog to be applicable and encouraging to Christian young women in college, but I also recognize that the topics of my posts will likely apply to a larger audience than just those in college. With that in mind…

  • College students, I hope that Adventures Along the Path of Life will be a refreshing change from the stereotypical college website you might come across, and that this site will enrich your life rather than degrade it.
  • All readers, I hope that Adventures Along the Path of Life will afford you inspiring and encouraging glimpses into the path of life God has chosen for me, and that you’ll leave each post on this blog with something new to ponder and perhaps incorporate into your own lives.

Since Christ needs to be our focus in every aspect of our lives, I hope to make Him the binding connection behind every post on this site. I might not mention God in every page or article, but I intend for the suggestions I make and the way I approach each topic to reflect Him and His influence on my life.

I challenge you, as well, to take the information you find on Adventures Along the Path of Life and use it in a manner that is glorifying to God.

Thanks for stopping by. Let me know in the comments below if there’s anything particular you would like to see on this site.

In Christ,

Lauren

  1. Thank you for using your gifts as a writer to inspire others to a closer relationship with Christ. I never hike alone touched this morning in a lot of ways. Thank you!

    • I am so thankful that God is working through my little posts to touch lives. He seems to love using the posts which I don’t think much of…apparently His ways are not my ways! 🙂
